FENS Forum 2024: From Synucleinopathy to Motor Control Networks

FENS Forum is Europe’s largest neuroscience congress, covering all areas of neuroscience from basic to translational research
25-29 June 2024 at the Messe Wien Exhibition & Congress Center in Vienna, Austria

RETUNE research at FENS Vienna: The groups of Christoph Harms, Nikolaus Wenger, Yangfan Peng and Philip Tovote presented their work at Europe’s most important Neuroscience conference, the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies’ Forum. This year held in beautiful Vienna, directly adjacent to the famous “Prater” amusement park. Equally entertaining was the science presented by Retune members: From cell type-specific  models of synucleinopathy, novel experimental paradigms for anxiety effects in Parkinsons’s disease to gait improvements after stroke via spinal stimulation or serotonergic modulation (Wenger/Harms), and high-density recordings of motor control networks (Peng), Retune posters received a lot of attention and sparked intense scientific exchange with other experts of the field.
