Dr. Jan Roediger receives the Humboldt Prize
Dr. Jan Roediger has been awarded the “Research to Innovation” prize, which is valued at 1,000 euros, as a subcategory of the Humboldt Prize. This recognition highlights his significant contributions to the field of neuroscience. Dr. Roediger, a principal investigator at the Experimental and Clinical Research Center (ECRC) of the Max Delbrück Center and Charité, has been honored for his work in neuroimmunology. His research focuses on the complex interactions between the nervous and immune systems, providing valuable insights into brain function in both health and disease states.
The Humboldt Prize, also known as the Humboldt Research Award, is presented by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation to internationally renowned scientists and scholars for their outstanding research achievements. Jan Roediger
Jan Roediger is a physician with focus on DBS and movement disorders at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. He is a fellow of the Einstein Center for Neurosciences MD/PhD program and a research assistant in the Kühn lab. His research focuses on prospective and translational applications of image analysis and spatial statistics in the field of DBS.
