In an impressive display of academic excellence, three outstanding ReTune PhD students took the spotlight at the EUREKA! Life Sciences Symposium 2023.
1. Martina Wilhelm presented her research on “Acute behavioral responses induced by high-frequency deep brain stimulation of the MLR correlate with cFOS induction in the cuneiform nucleus.”
2. Maurilyn Ayon Olivas delved into “The role of BDNF signaling for striatal plasticity in Parkinson’s disease”
3. Daniel Wolf shared his results on “BDNF-mediated synaptic plasticity in mouse models of dystonia”
These students’ presentations were met with enthusiasm, underscoring their dedication and contributions to the field of life sciences. The EUREKA! Life Sciences Symposium 2023 exemplified the exceptional potential of emerging researchers and highlighted the impactful work being conducted by the Graduate School of Life Sciences (GSLS) PhD students.
